BORNEO
was Brilliant !!!!
Warwick and I just got back from Borneo.
It was fantastic. The scenery was spectacular, the War
History was very touching, very moving, very sad. The
orangutans were unbelievably funny and entertaining and
the boat trip up the river was mind blowingwe saw
hornbills, wild pigs, macaque monkeys, proboscis monkeys,
crocodiles, snakesjust couldnt believe we
were sitting in a boat in the middle of the jungleout
of this world! The accommodation was great and there was
so much foodALL MEALS INCLUDED in the tour. Great
shopping too girls. |

Our tour starts with a day with a difference when we discover
Redclaw Aquaculture at its best and then feast on the
mouth watering flavours of farm fresh Qld Redclaw. Well
be part of an
informative, enjoyable and sumptuous Cherax Park Redclaw
Farm Tour and then lunch on the verandah of the family
Queenslander home. This is a pond to plate experience
not to be missed. Then this evening, what an incredible
experiencewatching fabulous turtles lay their eggs
at Mon Repos near Bundaberg. Well do this after
dinner tonight. The next day, well visit 1770 and
Agnes Water and youll love our full day tour on
the fabulous LARCa cross between a four wheel drive
bus and a boat! Our journey takes us across tidal creeks,
along Eurimbula National Park to historic Bustard Head
Light Station for some of the most spectacular panoramic
views in Australia. Experienced guides will amaze you
with tales of tragedy and triumph as early settlers and
lighthouse keepers struggled to tame this remote wilderness.

Board the Westlander in Brisbane for
a train journey to Charleville. Use your pensioner rail
passes and save $$$. Peter will meet you with the bus
in Charleville where youll visit the Royal Flying
Doctor Museum, the Cosmos Centre and enjoy night viewing
of the precious Bilbys. On your way to Longreach, visit
the Heritage Centre in Barcaldine, the Black Stump and
Tambo Teddies. Youll love the Stockmans Hall
of Fame in Longreach and the Qantas Outback Museum. Tonight
enjoy a dinner cruise on the MV Longreach on the Thompson
River. Free time in town before traveling on to Winton

be spent at the Anchorage Hotel on the shores of Nadi
Bay and then well start our circumnavigation of
the island. Well visit magnificent orchid gardens,

Pacific Harbour Cultural Centre for a fabulous cultural
tour and lunch. Our next night will be spent at the Tradewinds
Hotel on the shores of Suva Bay. Shop in Suva this morning,
travel through Korovo, and the back roads called the Wananbuccas
