After our flight to Adelaide, we'll overnight and visit Monarto Zoo the next day - one of the largest open range zoos in the world spanning more than 1500 hectares and home to more than 500 animals and 50 species of exotic and native mammals, birds & reptiles. Then it's on to the historic town of Mannum where we board the Murray Princess Paddlewheeler for a 4 night Historic Cruise on the majestic Murray River. Highlights include - Cruise through Lock #1 at Blanchetown; Tour the vineyard and visit the cellar door at Burk Salter Boutique winery; take a guided walking tour of the Swan Reach township and visit the Swan Reach Museum; see the towering sandstone cliffs at the Big Bend; Watch the Sunnydale Woolshed Show & go to the Native Wildlife Shelter; Enjoy a riverside Aussie Barbecue; go on a nocturnal tractor and cart ride; Explore the Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Reserve archaeological sites with an expert local guide; we'll delight in a scenic tender boat ride. Little Desert National Park is our next stop for some wildlife encounters followed by a visit to Ballarat for the Sound and Light Show at Sovereign Hill before flying home from Melbourne.

Grafton’s Jacaranda Festival 3rd Nov 3 days. $750 pp twin share. Single $125

Each year in late October, Grafton celebrates the annual blossoming of the Jacaranda Tree and began in 1935. Today, during the festival, you will find a chaos of colour in street parades, cultural and handicraft displays. We’ll start our trip with lunch at the Rathdowney Pub and enjoy a very scenic drive via Lions Road to Casino where we’ll overnight. Guided tour of Grafton on Saturday and a visit to some Open Gardens before free time at the TAFE markets for all the fun of the fair. We’ll enjoy a scenic drive to some beach suburbs before returning for the grand finale—The Street Parade. We’ll overnight at Angourie Resort in Yamba before our visit to Summerland House Farm—a working Macadamia and Avocado Farm in Alstonville. Here we’ll enjoy a tractor ride of the property and a delicious lunch before our drive home. Bring a friend or come along and meet some new ones!

You’ll love our town tour of Adelong and the hilarious Boggy Creek Show at Tumburumba that portrays the spirit of Australia’s heritage. Then we’ll have lunch at Pioneer Women’s Hut. Glenrowan—the heart of Kelly country—is home to the Ned Kelly show—a very funny show about Kelly’s Last Stand. Then we’ll visit Shepparton where a local guide will bring to life the sights, sounds and tastes of this region. 
Echuca will be our home for 4 nights, so no more unpacking! We’ll tour the lovely historic Wharf Precinct of Echuca, lunch on the Emmy Lou Paddlewheeler, visit the Holden Museum & take in the majesty of the Murray River with a scenic flight. Our day in Bendigo begins with a trip on the Talking Tram followed by a visit to Chinese Joss House and The Deborah Gold Mine & an underground lunch. Melbourne & The International Garden Show Mon 19th March 4 days 

After our flight to Melbourne & check in at our Hotel, we’ll enjoy some free time before we enjoy the famous Tramcar Restaurant for a scenic tour around Melbourne while enjoying a 3 course dinner. We’ll visit the Victoria Markets and Cruise the Yarra River on Wednesday. Dinner at leisure. Thursday is the day for the International Flower Show. We’ll take a tram and spend the day in the stunning Carlton Gardens. Dinner at your leisure—even in the Hotel. There are dozens of restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel. After some last minute shopping in fabulous Melbourne, we’ll fly back home on Thurs.

After your flight to Adelaide, you’ll enjoy an overnight stop in Port Augusta. Then it’s off to Ceduna via Whyalla, Cowell & Elliston Clifftops. You’ll love Murphy’s Haystacks and Streaky Bay. Have you ever thought it possible to go whale watching from the Nullarbor? Well, now’s your chance. We’ll visit Head of Bight in the Great Australian Bight Marine Park—a great vantage point to view the Southern Right Whales. Then enjoy lunch on the Nullarbor before heading towards the W.A. border for some scenic clifftop views from the Nullarbor—from the Bunda Cliffs. Back to Ceduna and Pt Augusta through towns like Wirrulla and Minnipa where we visit the famous Pildappa Rock with a spectacular wave form. The Interpretative Wadlata Centre offers a memorable introduction to the area’s culture, heritage, settlement and development. Off to Quorn and Hawker where we’ll visit the stunning Wilpena Panorama—a 360 degree view of some of the most beautiful country in South Australia.—by local artist Jeff Morgan. Then be gob-smacked by our 2 nights at Arkaroola Wilderness Resort. Here we’ll witness rugged mountains, towering granite peaks, magnificent gorges and mysterious waterholes. You’ll be blown away by the fabulous 4WD Ridgetop Tour and the waterholes tour. All meals here. You’ll love lunch at the famous Feral Foods Parachilnna Hotel on our way to our overnight in the beautiful Clare Valley. Leave the tour here or continue on. We’ll visit some wineries, travel through the Barossa and on to Victor Harbour. We’ll travel to Cape Jervis where we meet the Kangaroo Island Ferry, pick up our local guide and discover this most fascinating Island. We’ll discover the Remarkable Rocks, Cape du Couedic Lighthouse and Admirals Arch. We’ll hear about the grim drama of shipwrecked sailors, the gritty industry of the whalers and the mysteries of the island’s original inhabitants. The Island is a natural habitat for platypus, goannas, seals, sea lions, glossy black cockatoos, wallabies & the island’s own species of kangaroo. Back to Adelaide via Goolwa, the Murray Mouth and Hahndorf. Fly home next day.  

Flinders Island and King Island. Sun 14 Oct 2018 8 days. $5225 per person twin share. Single $505 

You’ll love King Island, rich in history with shipwrecks, jagged reefs and lighthouses. The fairy penguins will steal your hearts AND the King Island Dairy’s cheeses will please your palate. We’ll visit Currie Museum, Seal Rocks State Reserve—home to a calcified forest—and we’ll visit the town of Grassy, home to King Island Kelp Craft. Overnight and touring in Launceston before we fly to Flinders Island—part of the Furneaux group of islands. It’s an inspiring world of sparkling beaches, rugged ranges, abundant wildlife and flora, and clear sapphire waters. We’ll enjoy magnificent views of Franklin Sound and travel to Trousers Point which boasts white sands, crystal clear waters and majestic Mt Strezlecki in the background. Patriarch’s Sanctuary is a reserve to protect the Cape Barron Geese. We’ll learn the sad fate of the aboriginals at historic Wybalenna and view the mutton bird rookery and old trading settlement of Port Davey. I’ve done this tour twice.
