We’ll fly to Charleville, visit the Bilbys & enjoy a town tour including a visit to the historic Corones Hotel. Then it’s off to Ray Station, a 600sq km sheep & cattle property which remains one of a select few properties in Australia never to have changed hands since white settlement. We’ll experience a 2 night stopover that includes full day tour, all meals & entertainment. We can enjoy Piano, guitar & poetry around campfire, Early film footage, Pioneer cemetery, restored homestead complex, a Museum, fabulous dinners & fully cooked breakfasts. We’ll visit Yowah (famous for its opals) for a tour and lunch on the way to Kilcowra Station—our home for the next 2 nights. Kilcowera Station Stay is a large organically run Cattle Station, 1000 kilometers west of Brisbane on the Dowling Track. Your Outback adventure starts here with a guided tour around the property. Whether you’re a bird watcher, photographer, bushwalker or just love the bush, you will discover the vastness and natural beauty of the Australian Outback. Accommodation here is provided in spacious Shearers Quarters. We will have exceptional views of Lake Wyara from the escarpment and plateau country west of the lake. We’ll explore the many gorges, small caves, creeks and waterholes. Do a little bird watching and wild life spotting while having lunch or smoko by a peaceful waterhole. Then it’s on to Thargomindah for morning tea and tour before a delicious lunch at the famous Eulo Queen Hotel. After our overnight stay in St George we travel home through Dalby where we’ll have lunch.

The LARC will take us on a journey into history over cast sandy beaches and crystal clear waters that Capt Cook first set eyes on. Our unique amphibious adventure travels along the coastline of Eurimbula National Park with informative commentary on the abundant wildlife and history of Busted Bay. Visit the Busted Head Lighthouse & graveyard (no we won’t leave you there!) Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers

We’ll travel through Crows Nest, have lunch at The Old Crow and visit Highlands Pioneer Village on our way to Toowoomba (2 nights). You’ll love the Clivia Show. Next morning we’ll tour Queens Park with its stunning flower beds, tree lined paths and wide open spaces. Picnic Point gives you breathtaking views over the Lockyer Valley. The exotic surrounds of the manicured Laurel Bank Park and the scented gardens close to the city centre showcase fragrant blooms, herbs and shrubs. The scented gardens were developed by ideas from the Downs Association of the Blind. Then we’re all be blown away with our guided tour of the award winning gardens of Toowoomba. On our last day we’ll visit the Japanese Gardens, the largest and most traditionally designed in Australia. Then we’re in for a real treat as we enjoy a fabulous High Tea at Inbound, in the heritage listed Toowoomba Railway Station before travelling home via Pohlmann’s Nursery where you can buy some plants to make your dream garden. Free time in Esk on our way home.

Then the highlight—Floriade—with millions of tulips planted each year and stunning floral garden displays. Cockington Green is always a lot of fun & then the beautiful Tesselaar’s Tulip Festival in the Dandenongs. Then it's on to the historic town of Mannum where we board the Murray Princess Paddlewheeler for a 4 night Historic Cruise on the majestic Murray River. Highlights include - Cruise through Lock #1 at Blanchetown; Tour the vineyard and visit the cellar door at Burk Salter Boutique winery; take a guided walking tour of the Swan Reach township and visit the Swan Reach Museum; see the towering sandstone cliffs at the Big Bend; Watch the Sunnydale Woolshed Show & go to the Native Wildlife Shelter; Enjoy a riverside Aussie Barbecue; go on a nocturnal tractor and cart ride; Explore the Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Reserve archaeological sites with an expert local guide; we'll delight in a scenic tender boat ride. Each year in late October, Grafton celebrates the annual blossoming of the Jacaranda Tree and began in 1935. Today, during the festival, you will find a chaos of colour in street parades, cultural and handicraft displays. We’ll start our trip with lunch at the Rathdowney Pub and enjoy a very scenic drive via Lions Road to Casino where we’ll overnight. Guided tour of Grafton on Saturday and a visit to some Open Gardens before free time at the TAFE markets for all the fun of the fair. We’ll enjoy a scenic drive to some beach suburbs before returning for the grand finale—The Street Parade. We’ll overnight at Angourie Resort in Yamba before our visit to Summerland House Farm—a working Macadamia and Avocado Farm in Alstonville. You’ll love our town tour of Adelong and the hilarious Boggy Creek Show at Tumburumba that portrays the spirit of Australia’s heritage. Then we’ll have lunch at Pioneer Women’s Hut. Glenrowan—the heart of Kelly country—is home to the Ned Kelly show—a very funny show about Kelly’s Last Stand. Then we’ll visit Shepparton where a local guide will bring to life the sights, sounds and tastes of this region. 
Echuca will be our home for 4 nights, so no more unpacking! We’ll tour the lovely historic Wharf Precinct of Echuca, lunch on the Emmy Lou Paddlewheeler, visit the Holden Museum & take in the majesty of the Murray River with a scenic flight. Our day in Bendigo begins with a trip on the Talking Tram followed by a visit to Chinese Joss House and The Deborah Gold Mine & an underground lunch. Christmas Day brings lunch with all the trimmings and loads of fun. We’ll fly home from Melbourne on Boxing Day.

The Elvis Festival is held each year in Parkes to coincide with Elvis’s birthday. The Festival features a jam-packed five-day program of events, including four days of free Cooke Park Main Stage entertainment, look-a-like contests, Tribute to Elvis competitions, Street Parade, displays of Elvis artefacts at Greg Page’s The Kings Castle Elvis Exhibit, the Gospel Service, the Cars of the Era show and over 100 other unique Elvis-themed events. We’ll be there to experience some of these fun events. Enjoy markets with Elvis memorabilia, rock n roll clothing, food, and so much more. We’ll stay in Forbes and travel by bus down through towns like Moree and Narrabri (overnight) . Visit Cowra, Bathurst and overnight in the Blue Mountains. Fly home from Sydney.
